Regeneration Collection
During Covid’s lockdown stages throughout 2020, I had a major breakthrough while in quarantine. As an antidote to the world that was falling apart around me, I wrote a satirical guide entitled “How to achieve a successful regeneration », inspired of the poem « How to make the portrait of a bird » by Jacques Prévert. This satirical poem explains how to regenerate yourself physically and then psychically as a metaphor, in a way that is unique to each individual.
The collection illustrates the journey of classical garments such as a tailor jacket, shirt, and evening dress in the process of regenerating through a disaggregated design — classic being fused into innovation.
A way to make my garments respond endlessly to the body pure movement, as if it was floating in the air. As if it was a hybrid second skin.
